Funding with Trust. Partnering for Impact.
We work alongside funders who believe the people closest to the challenge should lead the solution. Together, we build funding ecosystems rooted in trust, equity, and community wisdom.
HOW WE WORK
Culturally grounded. Community led. Equity centered.
At Incite, we do more than move dollars. We co-create systems that restore trust, reduce burden, and deliver long-term results.
When Illinois set out to address the deep health inequities exposed by COVID-19, the ARISE initiative chose a different path. With 3.7 million dollars in CDC funding, they invested in trusted but often overlooked leaders including faith-based groups, Divine Nine chapters, artist-activists, and frontline organizers working alongside local health departments.
We supported ARISE every step of the way. In partnership with WE in the World, Heluna Health, and the Illinois Department of Public Health, we coordinated operations, integrated language justice, and ensured 18 grassroots coalitions had what they needed to succeed.
This was not just about scaling a program. It was about scaling trust.
OUR TRUST-BASED FRAMEWORK
We operationalize equity at every level.
“Supporting trusted community groups who are from the community is the best way to address racial and economic barriers.”
— Somava Saha, WE in the World
Here is how we put that into practice:
Relationship centered
We build long-term partnerships where trust grows through shared decisions, not just shared deliverables.
Culturally responsive
We embed language justice, cultural relevance, and accessibility into every phase of the work.
Streamlined and supportive
We reduce administrative load so more energy goes into community impact, not compliance checklists.
Power sharing by design
We create structures that center community voice and leadership in funding decisions.
Systems oriented
We focus on upstream change so outcomes are not just effective, but lasting.
Responsive learning
Evaluation becomes a conversation. We embed shared learning from the beginning.
